I hope you all had a fantastic Independence Day weekend! I traveled to Iowa and spent Friday with my family and friends - it was the most wonderful & relaxing day complete with a small town parade, car show, napping in a hammock, great food, catching up with old friends, taking in lake views, sparklers, and topping off the evening by watching the fireworks from a boat in the middle of the lake. As always, my camera was in tow - and became a hit when teaching my friends about the artistic value of fireworks and 30 second exposures. Here are just a couple of my favorites from the day/evening.
